Phobia - Spiders, not a phobia of mine but Chris’ for sure. So much so, that we tease him about the time he used shot gun to kill a huge one in his mother’s driveway.

Language - the language on this headstone in a cemetery in Darley was fabulous. It was a sunny day and I was there with my friend, George. We spent our time snapping some gorgeous stones and basking in the UK sun.

Here is my picture for “darkness”. This is the light that leads the path to my apartment in the backyard of the lot where I live. This light is the only light in the darkness for me some nights.

The next two words we chose were music and dark.
Here is dark - there is something eerie but comforting about the lights in this picture. This was me at 230am waiting for Melissa to get back from a basketball game that was 5 hours away.

Music - this was a band called Mutefish. They were playing in the streets of Dublin. They were really good ….

Today’s word is “art”.
This gentlemen sat on the concrete of a street in downtown Dublin and just drew these in chalk all day, in between puffs of his cigs. I’ve always wondered what he did with these. If he does 2 or 3 a day (there were 2 completed and he was working on 1 when we stopped) he’s got to sell them..or frame them or….?
I think I want one.
Today’s word is ‘home’.
This pretty much sums it up - I walk in the gate and that’s what I see. It’s a great feeling to come home from a day and see him waiting in the window for me.
I couldn’t forget to add this one. Because where those babies of mine are will always be home to me.

Sorry I missed yesterday! But I’m posting them both today, so I get some brownie points, right?
Yesterday’s word was ‘advanced’. This one struck me - it was a drab cold day- and this gentlemen was walking with a distinct limp but just trudging along. Advanced refers to not only his age but the fact that he advanced with all the gusto he could muster. It was quite a sight.
